hello, i'm kelley...

A 2015 graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Digital Graphics.

A multidisciplinary artist with skills from digital to fiber arts.

An INFP (MBTI Personality Type).

A Cat Mom.

An Aquarius.

Lover of the universe.

Big fan of food, music, friends, travel and learning.

I grew up building miniature cardboard houses, sewing dolls, drawing and making jewelry. In the early 2000's, when the DIY movement was in full swing on the internet, I designed my first website to sell my creative wares: jewelry, hand spun yarn, craft kits, sewn items and whatever else I was exploring creatively. In 2006 I had a DIY felt flower brooch craft kit featured in the Feb/March issue of BUST Magazine and in 2008 I had jewelry featured in a book, 1000 Jewelry Inspirations: Beads, Baubles, Dangles and Chains (1000 Series) by Sandra Salamony.

My curiosity and work continued to transpose many creative endeavors while I was in school learning graphic design skills, ceramics, metals/jewelry and furniture design; with my primary focus in digital. Being creative is integral to my identity so I continue to explore creative avenues as I journey through life.

I draw inspiration from the world around me - from people and nature - where the formal elements of color, line, shape and texture mingle with the body, mind and soul. Depending on the project or goal, I approach the process of making or designing from a spontaneous, intuitive state or one from careful deliberation and intent.  I find it fascinating to watch things unfold and come together.  And of course, the continuous learning and discovery processes of life keep it fresh and exciting.
